Greg graduated from William Jewell College and the MIZZOU Law School.
Following law school, Greg was elected to the Missouri State Legislature where he fought for people against insurance companies, pharmaceutical profiteers, and special interest groups.
Greg has a vast array of legal experience—representing victims in personal injury cases, car wreck cases, assault and battery cases, medical malpractice cases, acting as General Counsel for public hospitals, trying jury trials around the state locking up sexual predators for the Missouri Attorney General as an Assistant Attorney General, handling real estate matters for Clay County as an Assistant County Counselor, and probate and estate planning.
Greg is a past president of the Clay County Bar Association, current Mayor of Liberty, and founder of Canuteson Law LLC.

Michael is a Partner of Canuteson Law LLC. A 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he has spent his entire career as a civil litigator, advocating for those who have been subjected to unfair and inequitable treatment in the workplace. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive experience litigating cases in Missouri State Court, and in the Missouri and Kansas Federal Courts, and has argued numerous cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Michael is an active member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Kansas City Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the Clay County Bar Association, where he has conducted continuing legal education for other attorneys on matters of employment law. He and his wife Andrea live in Lee’s Summit with their two Golden Retrievers, Truman and Roosevelt..
